Your Mask Comes First
So here we are – Thanksgiving has come and gone, and we are in the throes of Cyber Week. After surviving Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday, and Giving Tuesday we have the rest of Cyber Week to get “the best deals ever, you won’t see this deal again, only once a year, time is running out, prices slashed, tick tock, oh, and did you leave something in your cart?”, and so on. It really is genius how this happens each year. The marketing virtuosity that creates for us this extreme crescendo of urgency, leading to the climax of us (me, I’ll admit it) adding things to the cart , high with the giddiness of saving money, only clouded (albeit so ever slightly) by guilt from over-spending. Fortunately, the guilt passes with me recognizing the fact that I would be kicking myself later if I didn’t grab those discounts, and ended up spending more, but only later. Right?!?
